19th January, 2016: the Islamic State on Tuesday confirmed that ‘Jihadi John’ the British jihadi featured in most of the terrorist group’s execution and propaganda videos was killed in an airstrike in Syria.
Mohammed Emwazi who became popular as the notorious ISIS executioner was killed in an unmanned drone strike in Syria in November 12, 2015. The Takfiri confirmed through their magazine Dabiq that is responsible for spreading propaganda and extreme ideologies.
Jihadi John has appeared in a series of very graphic and brutal beheadings with most notable the execution of British aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning.
He was killed in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqua in Syria a few days after the Islamic State orchestrated Paris attacks.
