Sunday 25th October 2015, Israel government announced that it has designated Syria-based Al-Nusra Front and ISIL as ‘terrorists organizations’.
According to Ofir Gendelman, a spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu via Twitter, Jabhat al-Nusra commonly known as the Al-Nusra Front, ISIS (ISIL, Daesh) and the and the Abdullah Azzam Brigades to be regarded as terrorist organizations.
The Sunday announcement reaffirmed Israel earlier declaration that had listed the three as terrorists group last year.
After a cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu indicted that the country is constantly fighting these three terrorist organizations.
On Friday 23rd October 2015, ISIL purportedly released its first ever video which was recorded in Hebrew language calling on its fighters to stage attacks against Jews in Jerusalem.
In the video, ISIL also reportedly stepped up it calls on Palestinian youths to orchestrate ‘lone wolf’ kind of attacks on Israelis.
Israel now get onto the list of countries such as the U.S., the EU, Pakistani and Saudi Arabia alongside other countries who have officially declared ISIL a ‘terrorist organization’ posing threat and controlling large areas of Iraq and Syria.
