This ISIL local IS group, Majlis Shura Shabaab al Islam, operates in the eastern Libyan port city of Dernah.
The group established itself quickly and has adopted the ISIS strategy quickly, particularly the beheading strategy.
Intelligence sources confirm that in Libya’s the “Barqah Province” division of the Islamic State (IS) in Libya distributed printed literature in markets.
The group further published the photo of its militants tasked with its morality department, showing these agents delivering the printed Islamist literature in a market place.
However, intelligence reports shows that the group controls a very small area in Dernah.
Intelligence Sources report that this ISIL group has no real operational capabilities outside of this area.
