Omar Said led the terror attack on the Halane Military base in Mogadishu Somalia, intelligence reports confirm.
The man is of Kenyan origin, spoke fluent Swahili but couldn’t speak fluent Somali, meaning he was not a Muslim born, or a Coastal dweller rather a covert from upcountry.
Omar Said was killed among 3 others after they staged an attack inside the AMISOM’s Halane military base in Mogadishu.
The base is manned by the Ugandan soldiers serving under AMISOM.
Three Ugandan soldiers died in the attack besides a civilian contractor (Private Military Contractor).
There are over 600 Kenyan youths serving Al-Shabaab terrorists, intelligence services in Kenya report.
