17th February 2016, Latest OSINT reports indicate that a media director of the Daesh/Islamic State terrorist group surrendered to Iraqi security forces in the western province of Anbar.
Iraq’s Arabic news channel al-Sumaria reported that Daesh media director identified as Mohammed Sager Salman also known as Abu Ahmed al-Garehguli gave important details about senior Daesh figures and its military strategies to the Iraqi army.
Reports from the source also indicate that Salman had recently been appointed as the head of the Daesh Takfiri group’s media team.
Salman reportedly fled from the Takfiri group’s execution of its senior officials.
Daesh Takfiri terrorist group is also waging attacks in the neighbouring Syria and committing atrocities against the civilian population in both Iraq and Syria including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds and Christians.
US-led coalition is on the front-line on the war against terror, with intensified campaigns killing hundreds of Daesh militants in both Syria and Iraq.
