Hall of fame sportsman, Harmon Killebrew has died of esophageal cancer at the age of 74.
Killebrew died at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona after battling the dreaded disease.
Harmon Clayton Killebrew nicknamed “Killer” and “Hammerin’ Harmon“, died after a long battle with cancer.
Killebrew was a Major League Baseball first baseman, third baseman, and left fielder in the highly acclaimed sport.
Dubbed the big gentleman of the game, Killebrew had one of the most successful careers as a baseball player.
Harmon Clayton Killebrew was born June 29, 1936 and has had a wonderful life as a celebrity sports person.
His career in baseball saw him signed by the Washington Senators in 1954 at the age of 17. This was his debut to fame for he started shinning here.
