Deepak Kamani, the billionaire whose companies won contracts worth billions of shilling from the government of Kenya 10 years ago has presented himself at KACC.
Mr. Kamani owns over five companies that are worth billions of shillings.
The businessman who is well connected across the Kenyan and Indian political circles has massive investments locally and internationally.
Deepak Kamani is the son of Chamanlal Kamani and brother of Rashmi Chamanlal Kamani and Sudha Ruparell.
Kamani is accused of fraudulently obtaining money from the government and failing to deliver on agreed arms, security equipment and forensic lab construction.
The KACC will grill the Indian businessman to get to the bottom of the Anglo leasing scandal which saw billions of shillings go down the drain.
