Danish police are in custody of four men suspected to have been enlisted in the Islamic State terrorist group.
The four were arrested in possession of ammunition and weapons and were believed to have been at an advanced stage of committing acts of terror.
According to a statement by Copenhagen police said the four were arrested on Thursday 8th April 2016 at different locations of the Danish capital.
The police statement further stressed the four were identified through investigation carried out in close cooperation between the Danish Security and Intelligence Service and Copenhagen police.
The arrests are part of intensified operations in Denmark aimed at cracking down criminal and part of effort meant to curb people against being recruited to terror in the war-torn areas in Syria and northern Iraq.
