EVENT SUMMARY
13th January 2016, an explosive device found by a herdsman in Kitengela.
The explosive was discovered by the herdsman on the banks of a seasonal river.
Police notified of unfamiliar device and immediately responds, bomb experts called in and detonated the explosive successfully.
It is believed the explosive was left behind by British soldiers undergoing training in the area.
