Wednesday 13th January 2016: A suicide bomber killed at least 10 people and injured several others in the (2340 ET) attack in a mosque at Kouyape in northern Cameroon.
The attack in the Far North Region that borders Nigeria is one in a series of attacks linked to the insurgency by the Nigeria-based ISIS affiliates Boko Haram with most attacks conducted by women.
Boko Haram has increased attacks on the neighboring Cameroon, Chad and Niger since last year when the 8,700 strong regional force was deployed to fight the militants in Nigeria.
