Al-Shabaab combatants on Monday executed 82-year old man for being involved in the recently conclude Somalia election.
The Elder identified as Osman Elmi was publicly executed at a square in Awdhegle district in Lower Shabelle region by a firing squad from Al-Shabaab, in a move intended to instill fear to public involvement with government.
After President Farmajo won the election, Al-Shabaab issued a statement, threatening to lay siege on his government.
Now the Islamist terrorist group is going after the elders who were involved voting the new Somali lawmakers in the regional states.
