Kenyans jihadist fighting for Somalia based Al-Shabaab are in trouble after being accused of giving out vital information that is leading to mass killings of the militants.
Kenyan Al-Shabaab members are being accused of giving KDF and US forces intelligence that leading to successful missions.
Jared Mokaya Omambia alias Abdulaziz, 30, and Abdul Majid Faraj, 22, all Kenyans, were beheaded by the Al Qaeda linked group on suspicion for spying for Kenyan security agencies.
Omambia alias Abdulaziz , a graduate of Moi University class of 2013 according to his profile has been on police radar, after his graduation, he seemed to be indoctrinated, calling his friends “kaffir,” a derogatory term for non-believers and commonly used by Al-Shabaab.
Omambia was arrested and detained in Isebania Police Station but was released on a bond, he was supposed to be reporting at the police station every month but in June 2014, he reportedly vanished from security radar.
Others killed include Faraj, a student of Muslim Cleric Aboud Rogo was was training training with Al-Shabaab as a suicie bomber in Mogadisghu Somalia, Abu Mansour Al Amriki aka Omar Shafik Hamam killed in 2013.
He was executed alongside Usama Al Biritani, a Pakistani national, for allegedly spying for the United States of America.
Citing the recent KDF successess over the Al-Shabaab in Somalia, a portion of Kenyan Al-Shabaab jihadists possibly will face the same fate on 'spying accusations'.
