The Afghan national defense and security forces foiled the militants attempt to carry out a deadly attack using a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED).
According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement, a Humvee type vehicle loaded with hundreds of kilograms of explosives was found and successfully defused before the militants to use for a deadly attack.
The ministry statement further added that the vehicle was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday morning from the vicinity of Zani Khel village in Ismail Khel district.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant and terrorist groups including the Taliban and ISIS insurgents have not commented regarding the report.
