Adam Morton is accused of putting a toddler in a dryer and switching the machine on.
Morton put a 2-year-old Maine toddler in a clothes dryer and turned the machine on leading to the burning of the boy.
Police have evidence that Adam Morton was left with the boy by his girlfriend
The girlfriend left him with the Bangor boy who suffered second-degree burns on his arms and back and burns and blisters on his feet when he was tumble dried by the clothe drying machine.
Adam Morton is from Berlin, New Hampshire. He is being held on $2,500 bail at Penobscot County Jail.
Morton admitted the charge claiming that he only did one revolution of the drum but a doctor’s report confirm the boy was in the dryer for a prolonged period.
