US Airstrike on Monday killed Abdishakur Tahlil, Al-Shabaab Chief of Intelligence Intelligence sources have confirmed.
Actual airstrike damage assessment was completed by Somali national army intelligence officials and verified that Abdishakur Tahlil died in the attack in Saakow.
Washington carried out the airstrike Monday targeting Abdishakur Tahlil the overall Al-Shabaab intelligence chief in Somalia.
Saakow is a town in the southern Middle Juba (Jubbada Dhexe) region inSomalia. It lies between Bu’ale, Dinsoor and Bardera.
Al-Shabaab intelligence Amniyat has various branches which include the intelligence, suicide bombers, and special operations units, all which were under chief Abdishakur Tahlil.
