Soldiers from the Somali National Army were killed last night by armed groups near the KM50 territory of the Lower Shabelle region.
Several soldiers estimated to be four, were on board a public commuter leaving KM50 on the way to Dhanaane, another town in the Lower Shabelle region when they fighters suspected to being Al-Shabaab affiliated shot the soldiers dead.
Witness reported that the gunmen ambushed the public commuter as it was passing by KM50 before brutally murdering the troops from the Somali National Army.
