The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched more airstrikes against Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip, early Thursday 22nd August 2019 morning according to the IDF spokesperson.
The report said that the IDF attacked several Hamas terrorist targets in the strip, following a second rocket launch from Gaza earlier Thursday morning. Six rockets have been launched from Gaza in the last seven days.
The army said the strikes were in response to the rocket attack, as well as continuing terror activities from the Strip.
An army statement added, “The IDF will continue to oppose attempts to harm Israeli civilians and considers the Hamas terrorist organization responsible for what happens in and out of the Gaza Strip
