34 Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) fighters on Turkeys wanted list have all been killed during counter-terrorism operations since Jan1, Interior Ministry of Turkey.
The senior member of the terrorists groups who was killed in eastern Siirt on Tuesday during strikes was among those in the list of wanted terrorists.
The wanted list is divided into six color coded categories, red indicating most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange, grey and white.
Since January 1 , five terrorists from category red, four from blue, three from green, two from orange, thirteen from grey and seven from white category were killed.
PKK has been listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, U.S and the EU. The group has waged terror campaigns against the Turkish state since the mid-1980s.
