At least four militants linked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed in the US drone raids in eastern Kunar and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan.
According to the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East, the latest drone strikes were carried out in the past 24 hours.
At least two of the militants were killed in Nawagi area in Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province, Silab Corps confirmed in a statement.
Another drone strike in Watapur district of Kunar province left at least two more ISIS militants killed, the 201st Silab Corps said.
The source also added that the airstrikes have not caused any casualty to the local residents.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant and terrorist groups including the ISIS combatants have not commented regarding the report so far.
