The President of Jubbaland Interim Administration Ahmed Madobe has welcomed the Kenyan troops (KDF) operating under AMISOM to lead campaigns against Al-Shabaab terrorist in his region.
Military reports indicate that the Jubbaland leader visited Kenya where he met with Kenyan military officials to discuss on a military strategy to dislodge Al-Shabaab terrorists out of Middle and Lower Jubba regions.
Ahmed Madobe has been a close ally of Kenya and very pivotal in the war against the Al Qaeda Islamists, Al-Shabaab in Lower and Middle Jubba regions of Southern Somalia.
Military source revealed that Madobe welcomed KDF to lead the war against Al-Shabaab in collaboration with Ethiopian contingent also battling Al-Shabaab under AMISOM and helped by Jubbaland administration in the liberation of his territory from Al Shabaab.
