Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a (ASWJ) Hunts Al Shabaab Operatives in Galgadud, Central Somalia

Somalia moderate Islamist group known as Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a (ASWJ), began military operations aimed at hunting down Al-Shabaab operatives in Galgadud region of central Somalia.

ASWJ fighters in a convoy of vehicles reportedly raided an establishment south of Gurie’el town where Al-Shabaab leaders were reportedly holding a meeting with local elders.

ASWJ group, a moderate Islamist group say is angered by the way Al-Shabaab is killing innocent civilian saying they have no option but to go into battle field, fight the militants and try to bring the senseless killings to an end.
