Wednesday 9th December 2015, after 2 American aligned to ISIL in Somalia, another federal charges were filed in Minneapolis, U.S. against another Somali young man from twin cities for allegedly supporting ISIL terror activities.
Abdirizak Mohamed Warsame, 20, of Eagan, was arrested on Wednesday and immediately charged with conspiring to provide material support to the ISIL Takfiri organization.
The criminal complaint filed allege that Abdirizak Mohamed Warsame was among a group of 10 suspect from twin cities, Somali-American community that planned and travel to fight alongside the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant in Syria last year April.
Al least three have already pleaded guilty of terrorism linked activities. Five others are scheduled charged.
Charges report indicate that Warsame was part of a group that played basketball and watched propaganda videos at a local Mosque.
Warsame is believed to have become the leader of the group inspiring them to cross over to Syria.
He is believed to have provided $200 to help one of the men expedite passport application. He also organized for the group to leave for Syria.
