Four bus companies suspended over links to terrorism have been cleared and free to resume business.
Sabrin Bus Services Limited, E-Coach, City to City Bus Services Limited and G-Coach operations were suspended and their bank account frozen for investigation.
Through a consent recorded on Thursday during a meeting at State Law Office, the government signed a consent clearing the four bus companies to resume operations and have their various bank account reopened.
A letter from Criminal Investigation Directorate indicated there is no substantial evidence linking the four companies to terrorism activities.
The bus companies operate Nairobi, Garissa and Mandera routes.
