At least 9 Daesh terrorists were killed by Iraq special forces following a raid in the province of Nineveh. The operation was confirmed by the Iraqi Joint Operations Command.
An Iraqi force, identified as Falcons intelligence unit, supported by U.S.-led international coalition’s aircraft, completely damaged a tunnel in al-Sahaji area, in the southwest of the provincial capital Mosul.
Daesh terrorists’ remnants are still conducting attacks in particular areas in the nation. However, the US-led coalition has maintained a presence in Iraq to ensure that the terror organization doesn’t regroup to create and start wreaking havoc.
