At least 70 terrorist fighters linked to ISIS-K and Taliban were killed and scores wounded during 4-day military operations in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan.
According to the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North, Afghan forces belonging to the 10th Kandak of the Special Forces conducted 4-day operations in Dasht Archi district, killing at least 70 terror militants. At least 15 militants also sustained injuries during the same operations.
Four large explosives caches and at least 60 fighting hideouts of the militants were also destroyed during the operations.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban have not commented regarding the operations so far.
Kunduz is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan but the security situation of has deteriorated more during the recent years.
