At least seven PKK terrorists on Tuesday evening were killed in anti-terror operation ongoing in Tunceli province.
An air-supported anti-terror operation started in Bali Deresi region on November 7 after security forces located a group of PKK terrorists.
Seven bodies including one female were found in the field following the anti-terror operation. The bodies were sent to Tunceli State Hospital for preliminary autopsies.
Security forces seized infantry rifles, other heavy weapons and mines. Two shelters used by the terrorists were also destroyed.
The operation in the region remains ongoing, according to the statement from the office of the governor.
The PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU.
