Confirming about the incident, Col Hassan Jama, the commander of Djiboutian contingent said that Al-Shabaab rebels did not mount any resistance and fled from the sentiments upon learning SNA soldiers and Djiboutian forces were narrowing down on them.
Col Hassan Jama, the Djiboutian peacekeeping force commander added that the anti-terrorist push will continue until the Al-Shabaab threat is dealt with and liberate the terrorists from the remaining pockets in Hiiraan province of central Somalia.
