At least 40 Ethiopians were arrested on Tuesday night from two houses in Kiamaiko and Eastleigh area, Nairobi for being in the country illegally.
According to Kenya Police, the men, who did not have travel documents were headed for South Africa when they were arrested.
Starehe OCPD Bernard Nyakwaka said the men told police they had been brought there by an agent and were to be picked to continue with their journey to South Africa.
Police are now looking for the agent as they prepare charges for the men who cannot communicate in English or Swahili.
