The Tuesday explosion was targeted at Bonoodo Restaurant which is within the proximity of Central Hotel that was the scene of a fatal attack by the Al-Shabaab attackers in February.
Although there has not been any responsibility claim for the Somali Restaurant Car Explosion Tuesday attack but speculations are that it was the outlawed Al-Shabaab militia that conducts similar habitual attacks.
Somalia is struggling to set up a functional government and stronger army that will be able to deal with the militia group with the help of her neighbor, Kenya together with the AMISOM soldiers. The Peace Mission is aimed at maintaining the peace and stability of the Horn of Africa.
