Sunday 10th January 2016, at least 32 militants of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) have been killed in the intensified Turkish forces offensives on their positions in the eastern province of Van.
Recent media reports indicate that Turkish security forces carried out a raid on a house in Van that was an operational and logistical base for the PKK militants.
During the forces raid, the Kurdish militants were killed in a fierce exchange of fire that also saw one police officer killed and two others injured.
The army offensives came after the Turkish security forces ongoing raids killed 18 militants and arresting dozens other PKK terrorists on Friday and Saturday in several southeastern towns that already are under curfew.
Turkey has been conducting large-scale mop-up military campaign against PKK militants in Kurdish majority south and southeast of country over the past few months.

PKK are not Takfiri. They are a secular guerilla force fighting for Kurdish people’s rights in Turkey.
