Two militants have been killed in Bandipora district, Kashmir, in an ongoing encounter.
One army personel died during the encounter as he sustained serious bullet wounds.
The operation was launched last week when militants and government forces exchanged fire in Raymar forests adjacent to Panar area. The operation has since been operation for six days, with the Indian government deploying more troops into the forest.
This comes after terrorists shot at Special Police Officer in Shopian’s Katho Halan area.
Police are on alert following the recent attacks from militants.
