Eleven PKK militants were arrested by Turkish authorities in security forces anti-terror raids on Wednesday morning in western province of Izmir.
According to Turkish military source, the successful raids saw a shotgun, assortment of weaponry and jihadist materials being recovered from the militant’s hideouts.
The arrested militants charged on belonging to a terrorist organization and plotting to conduct attacks on behalf of the terrorist organization.
PKK is listed as a terrorist organization also by the U.S. and the EU.
