UNHCR International Staff Among those Hijacked at Hagadera Refugee Camp in Kenya

Suspected militants have shot the driver of a UNHCR vehicle which had one international UNHCR staff on board at Hagadera refugee camp.

The driver of the vehicle was shot on the upper arm and in stable condition.

Intelligence reports indicate that a UNHCR vehicle was hijacked at Hagadera camp by suspected militants.

The report filed an hour ago informs that a UNHCR vehicle was hijacked at Hagadera camp one hour ago.

Al-Shabaab militants have renewed threats of terror in Kenya following efforts by the Kenyan government to arrest all aliens in the country and isolate genuine refugees from people profiled by intelligence services as suspected terror carriers and cells.
