Legislators in Kenya have warned that terror attacks happening in Kenya maybe acts of sabotage from the internal security system and politics.
Legislator Jamleck Kamau exemplified Lamu attacks with the Mandera attacks citing similarities on timing and the tribe of the victims.
In Lamu, most of the victims of the terror attacks were from ethnic Kikuyu who had bought land and settled in region.
The victims of the Mandera quarry terror attack were from the Kikuyu community again raising brows on an ethnic inclined terrorism.
The politician also cited politicians facilitating terror attacks to gain political mileage and portray the government as incapable.
Other MPs including Kanini Kega have blamed the police for their failing anti-crime strategy citing National Intelligence Service as functioning but police failing to use the intelligence to preempt the attacks.
