Latest military intelligence BDA indicate that close to 100 Al-Shabaab militants were killed by Ugandan-AMISOM contingent, when the militant group attacked their Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Bulo-Marer, Lower Shabelle region of Somalia.
Corresponding reports from Somali officials in Lower Shabelle region confirm that they collected 53 bodies of militants killed in Sunday’s attack AMISOM military base in Bulo Marer.
An additional 36 bodies were collected yesterday (Monday 3/4/2018) by UPDF contingent.
This brings the Al-Shabaab militants’ death toll to 89. Also UPDF confirmed to have lost four soldiers during the intense gunfight.
