According to Uganda Police Commissioner, General Kale Kayihura while addressing the media announced that the security authorities are on high terror alert to preempt any possible Al Shabaab attack. We are tracking a vehicle which is suspected to be used in the attacks along Kampala-Entebe highway General Kayihura revealed.
In a press state circulated to major news outlets in Uganda, the Police said the Friday attacks in Somalia Capital Mogadishu. Tunisia beach attacks, Kuwait Shia Mosque and France attacks should be a wakeup call for East African state that is a major target by the Somali based jihadists, the Al Shabaab.
The police warned of places which are crowded and urged members of the public in Mosques, churches, learning institutions, hotels, shopping centres and security agencies installations to be extra vigilant and ensure proper security protocols are observed.
