A man suspected to be involved in terrorism attached to the Somali militant group Al-Shabaab has been intercepted by security operatives at Busia border .
Ugandan police reportedly arrested a suspected Al-Shabaab operative at Busia border trying to cross over to Uganda.
The terror suspect identified as Mohamed Abdi Ali is a Kenyan national initial reports Ugandan security source indicate.
According to Nelson Nahabwe, Busia Police Commander, Ali was arrested while crossing from Kenya at Busia border. He was headed to Kampala where he would connected his way to South Africa.
Nahabwe has said Abdi will be transferred to Counter Terrorism (CT) Headquarters in Kampala for further interrogation.
Mohamed Ali Abdi, had his name highlighted on a wanted list by the Uganda security agents on 21 June 2014, as an Al-shabaab operative.
