The U.S. forces conducted separate airstrikes in Ghazni and Paktika provinces killing at least 19 Taliban militants.
According to the 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement on Tuesday, U.S. forces conducted airstrikes in Mir Khan area of Qarabagh district and Dalani of Aab district in Ghazni.
The statement further added that the airstrikes killed 14 Taliban militants, destroyed a vehicle and two motorcycles.
The U.S. forces also conducted an airstrike in Malik Shahi area of Bermal district in Paktika. The airstrike killed 5 Taliban militants and wounded 3 others.
