- 22nd July 2015; Two ISIS chiefs blown up by a roadside bomb planted previously by their own jihadists.
- ISIS troops had planted the roadside mine in the previous battles in the village of Kharbadan to target the Peshmerga but vice versa happened killing two of their local front leaders.
Analysis
ISIS terror front has intensified their attacks in the villages Kharbadan targeting the Peshmerga. ISIS militants are known for use of improvised devices in their attacks as well as suicide bomb attacks.
The militants had planted mines in the previous battles targeting their ‘enemies’ but the roadside bombs ended up killing two group’s Emirs (Leaders) named Abu Malik, and the other one named Abu abdul-Aziz.” One of the slain; Abu Malik was the group’s administrator in the area.
The roadside bomb went off at a time when several convoys of ISIS were passing by on the road.
Forecast
ISIS continues to wage fight on Kurds, Syrian and Iraqi troops. Earlier this month, a wave of attacks from the US-led coalition targeted ISIS bases on the Mekhmour front-lines, southeast of Mosul.
The militias in their bloody campaigns are determined to continue fighting a losing battle with an intention of establishing an Islamist caliphate in Syria and Iraq.
