Police on Tuesday night gunned down two criminal gangsters following a botched robbery in Nairobi’s Kayole estate.
Police recovered a pistol with five bullets from the gangsters before their bodies were moved to the city mortuary.
The two slain thugs are part of a cell robbing pedestrians.
According to a police source, the two were trailed by police from James Gichuru road where they had attempted to rob a businesswoman.
In April, three robbers were gunned down by police as they tried to break in and rob a bank in Westlands Nairobi.
