A huge blast has been heard Sunday 31st July 2016 following two car explosions outside the headquarters of Somali police in Mogadishu.
Initial OSINT reports indicate that the two militants gunned down as they tried to storm in the police headquarters which also houses Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters.
At least seven confirmed dead including civilians and the two militants, Ali Mohamed, a police officer said on Sunday.
Government troops backed by forces from African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) have dislodged the Takfiri terrorists from Mogadishu and other major cities in the country but however, continue to carry out deadly attacks across Somalia sporadically.
