At least 13 PKK terrorists were killed in Turkish security forces operation that targeted militant’s hideouts in Siirt province, southeast Turkey, a military source revealed Monday 8th August 2016.
According to the source, the operation involved F-16 fighter jets that struck a militant hideout whereby intelligence given was that the militants were having a meeting.
The air assaults also left militant vehicles including two technical destroyed.
PKK which has been conducting sporadic insurgency in Turkey and northern Iraq is a listed terrorist organization.
