On Friday 12th August 2016, morning, Turkish police launched anti-Daesh raids targeting the militant hideouts in more than 10 districts in Istanbul, Turkey.
Several suspects were taken into custody during the counter-terrorism operation carried out at simultaneous raids.

In operations carried out in June, more than100 suspected Daesh terrorists were arrested in in Turkey according to records compiled by law enforcement agency.
