Police in Turkey has arrested at least 70 suspected ISIS members across the nation in continued and comprehensive security offensives aimed at rooting out the terrorists.
Majority of those arrested are foreign nationals either believed to be headed to Iraq and Syria or escaping the offensives against the Islamic State in both countries.
Security forces have been involved in a long-running campaign to clear Daesh from Turkey. More than 300 people lost their lives in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bombs, rocket, and gun attacks.
