Turkish Jets Bombard PKK Targets, Killed 3 Terrorists in SE Turkey


Turkish fighter jets carried out precision airstrikes in southeastern Hakkari province killing three PKK terrorists and destroying several targets of the terrorist group.

According to Turkish military source, the Thursday bombardments destroyed PKK targets including the militants’ mortar and anti-aircraft gun positions in rural Cukurca district.

After conducting the operation, the warplanes returned safely to their base.

PKK is a listed terrorist organization by Turkey, U.S. and EU. The insurgent group resumed campaign in July 2015 targeting security personnel, soldiers and police.

More than 7,000 PKK terrorists have been killed in Turkish military operations.
