Turkish fighter jets reportedly conducted air sorties hitting 40 Daesh targets in Syria’s Al-Bab region.
According to Turkish General Staff, a total of 22 Daesh terrorists were killed in the raids last 24 hours as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield.
A total of 160 Daesh targets including shelters, defense points, command and control facilities, and vehicles used by Daesh terrorists were destroyed with heavy support from land and air.
Turkish jets airstrikes destroyed 29 shelters, three headquarters, one weapons depot, three armed vehicles, and four vehicles, including two cars armed as bombs. Three handmade explosives were also neutralized.
A total of 2,845 handmade explosives and 43 mines have been neutralized under controlled conditions since the beginning of the operation in mid-August 2016.
