Turkish deputy interior minister, Ismail Catakli said that security forces in the country neutralized at least 93 terrorists in February. A further breakdown revealed that 56 members of PKK/KCK, 22 of Daesh and 15 of far-left terror groups.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK, listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU, has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including women and children.
On the other hand, Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) conducted a failed coup in 2016 and its members distributed across the various public and security agencies have been arrested and prosecuted seeing as it was designated as a terror organization.
Turkey has consistently launched a major crackdown on a wide array of terror organizations including the Daesh headquartered in neighboring Syria and Iraq.
