Turkish fighter jets pounded on PKK terrorists’ positions in Avasin-Basyan region in Iraqi on Wednesday morning.
According too military sources, the warplanes struck PKK hideouts killing seven militants and injuring several others.
The airstrikes were launched in Avasin-Basyan region early morning that also destroyed PKK shelters and weapons depots.
On Tuesday, Turkish jets also conducted an airstrike in Metina region, killing two terrorists.
In a statement released by Turkish Defense ministry, security forces killed 36 PKK terrorists and captured 13 others during anti-terrorism operations carried out in the country between June 19 and 28.
