Kenya may have acquired, in January 2012, several units of a highly capable attack helicopter from Russia for the 50ACB.
Intelligence confirms that the helicopters are ground attack helicopters.
Kenya acquired several units of these attack helicopters through Rosoboronexport (Russian: OAO ????????????????), the sole state intermediary agency for Russia’s exports/imports of defense-related products, technologies and services.
Russia produces the Kamov-52 Attack Helicopter that costs $50 million and Ka-50N – Attack Helicopter which costs $45 million

Kenya could have acquired either of these.
