OSINT SUMMARY
Sunday 22nd November 2015, the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said crimes committed by Takfiri terrorist groups have nothing to do with Islam.
The leader made those remarks in a meeting with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow in the Iranian capital Tehran on Sunday.
Ayatollah Khamenei retaliated that the terrorist savage crimes ranging from suicide attacks, decapitation and burning people, acts he said are totally un-Islamic.
The leader noted Islam is a religion of fraternity, kindness and wishing the best for others.
In countering the violent extremism and barbarism exhibited by terrorist groups such as the Islamic State and like-minded Takfiri groups, people should be given the chance to practice rightful Islamic activities and values.
The best way for blocking the infiltration of the Takfiri currents, is to bolster genuine Islamic ideologies the leader added.
Separately on Saturday, another Egyptian cleric slammed terror and argued terrorists use Islam as a front.
Terrorism is a disease that forces need to unite and defeat rather than shift on blame game citing that it will be unjust and blatant bias, to link the atrocities committed by a group of individuals to Islam.
